Gomeldon Primary School

Online Safety

At Gomeldon we recognise that computing is a part of everyday life and will play a large roles in our children’s futures; we appreciate the many benefits that it can bring to enhance learning.

Through our use of the Kapow curriculum for Computing and PSHE (including RSE - Relationships and Sex Education), we strive to ensure children are well prepared for their digital lives. We explicitly teach our children how to use the internet in a secure and respectful way. We ensure they know how to take precautions and manage risks online, how to report anything that makes them feel uncomfortable as well as ensuring they have the knowledge and understanding to behave online with kindness, in a way that reflects their real life.
